Amanda Rosewarne

Amanda Rosewarne is the CEO and Co-founder of The Professional Development Consortium, encompassing The CPD Standards Office and The CPD Research Project. She also serves as Vice Chair of the National CPD Forum. With experience as an executive trainer and learning consultant across 60 countries, Amanda has worked with professional bodies, employers, training providers, coaches, and speakers, bringing extensive expertise to the British Certified Trainer program.

Dr Aref Alabed

Dr. Aref Alabed is the General Manager of The CPD Standards Office for the MENA region and the CEO & Founder of the International Medical Training Academy (UK). He is an executive coach with expertise in coaching leadership and has served as an associate consultant for the WHO (Switzerland) and US-AID. Internationally accredited as a speaker, Dr. Alabed has delivered over 1,000 training sessions in more than 25 countries.

Day 2 [29th June]

  • Explain the learning style definition

  • Discuss Honey & Mumford learning styles

  • Explore different types of introductions for trainer

  • List types of takeaway messages

  • Practice introduction & take away messages

Day 3 [30th June]

  • Explain the theory of the Training Cycle

  • Discuss the analysis stage in training development

  • Develop steps to design training materials

  • Create templates to develop training materials

  • Explore methods to evaluate training delivery

  • Demonstrate small-group presentation skills

  • Explain the advantages and disadvantages of training aids

  • Discuss the best ways to deal with different delegates

2. Attend Online Training

Focused on delivering online training and managing an audience in the digital realm.

Day 2 [10th July]

A discussion on technologies and tools that will enhance your training provision.

3. Complete Assessment

Completed within the course
